Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. Aspen Ladd started training in BJJ, kickboxing wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC aged 18. Ladd was able to continue building upon her victory during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She knocked out all her opponents within the first round. Aspen went back to WCFC in order to defeat Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous verdict. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia defeated Aspen to beat her a unanimous vote, leaving an ominous mark on her record as an amateur. Ladd rebounded from her loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen made her debut with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her journey as a pro. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight as a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill took down McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her third round by TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She continued to dominate and scored a more impressive win when she fought Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd ended Evinger during the first round and got a performance of the night bonus. The first big fight she fought in was during her subsequent fight in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter getting their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd within 16 seconds of the fight which ended her streak to win. She bounced back and finished Yana Kunitskaya in the third round in UFC on ESPN 7. In a recent replacement match for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She lost by unanimous decision.
